  27. Unfortunately, this functionality is _not_ included in the SCSI2
  28. specification.  (At least not in the r10c draft, which is what I am
  29. looking at.)  Reading audio data is supported only through vendor
  30. specific commands, which is why every drive seems to do it differently.

  32. For example, my NEC CDR-222 drive (4x) uses the opcode 0xd4, which
  33. is a group 6 command.  All of group 6 is reserved for vendor specific
  34. commands.  Other drives may use other opcodes, or even the same opcode
  35. but with totally diferent parameters and semantics.
